During this two-hour in-home consultation, we review your existing layout, explore new possibilities, and talk through your needs, style, and budget. You’ll leave with clear ideas, practical recommendations, and a defined scope of work. Whether you continue working with us or move forward on your own, this gives you a strong, confident starting point.
Consultation Fee: $595 + HST

What is an In-Home Consultation, and why is it important?
The In-Home Consultation is the first step in any project. During this two-hour working session, we review your space, discuss your goals and style, and help define a realistic budget. It gives you a clear direction and sets the foundation for everything that follows.
What happens during the In-Home Consultation?
We walk through your space together, review your existing layout, and explore new possibilities. We’ll suggest layout improvements, discuss furniture and design elements, and answer any questions you may have. By the end, you’ll have a clear scope of work and practical next steps.
What do I receive after the consultation?
You’ll leave with notes, ideas, and recommendations tailored to your space, along with a defined scope of work and clear guidance on how to move forward.
Do I need to continue working with you after the consultation?
Not at all. The consultation can be used as a standalone service, or you can choose to continue working with us for full design support. We offer flexibility depending on how much involvement you need.
Can you help with specific rooms like kitchens or bathrooms?
Yes, we design individual spaces as well as full homes. Kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms, each project is approached with the same attention to detail and functionality.
Do you offer 3D renderings or plans?
Yes. We provide detailed drawings and highly realistic 3D renderings so you can fully visualize your space before making final decisions.

We hired Unfold to take care of the design and project management of a full home renovation. The team helped us secure an excellent contractor during a time where contractors were being extraordinarily picky and turning jobs down or worse - walking off of jobs. They took care of the design of our house from top to bottom - including providing 3D renderings, picking out the furniture, artwork, designing the millwork and any construction required. We also went with the option of having them project manage the renovation which meant that they dealt with the contractors as well as many of the vendors for furniture/hardware, etc. I would say that this is some of the best money we spent as it really made the process worry-free. Some highlights include: The actual home looks exactly as they depicted in the 3D renderings - in other words we got exactly what we expected from a construction / millwork / design perspective. We knew all the costs before committing - which can be a huge unknown in renovations. Any increase in costs were because we chose to increase scope. The designers can also get discounts on hardware and furniture vs you buying it yourself. Lastly, whenever there were disagreements with the millwork company or other vendors, the designers took care of rectifying it therefore I didn't have to deal with it during an already stressful time. We highly recommend Gen and Sinzi and have already recommended them to our friends. Thanks a lot ladies!!

Thank you for helping us survive a stressful renovation and loving our kitchen and powder room! Sinziana and Gennifer have been a huge help during our renovations. Extremely professional, great attention to details and client focused. From the floor plan to the selection of the materials- floors, backsplash (love the backsplash), counters, they have been working with us diligently, helping us envision the final product. It has been a real pleasure working with them. We have engaged them for design only, using our own contractor, however they were there for us when the contractor turned out to be not what we expected.
